I guess so. I'd like to see whether The Resistance webisodes will be included as well (my guess is no). Before anyone makes any allegations of prejudice, though, I need that data.
I would have wondered if they were done in lower quality, but I recall they did get broadcast on the channel. They're also all still up on the website, though, so maybe SciFi wants everyone to have to go through their advertising for the content. They seem to take down episodes frequently enough that it makes sense to sell them, but the webisodes are still hanging out there (and they're up on Hulu as well, while almost all of the regular episodes are not available on Hulu- only the last seven episodes and the specials/webisodes.) I wonder if they thought it wasn't worth packaging that content on the DVDs because it is still available online for free, and will always be available online for free.
Well, I hear your point about the Resistance webisodes. I did try to find that out, actually, doing a (well, cursory) search on the net about the box set release. Nothing I saw on the official site mentioned either webisode series being on there, but then I did see an Amazon reviewer who claimed both were on there. But then they necessarily don't know anything.
You provide some convincing circumstantial evidence (the Hulu thing) for the decision being to not include any web content, maybe because it would cost them extra money in licensing fees they didn't want to spend? Maybe Universal they decided it wasn't worth the money because they've never seen them and don't think of them as an integral part of the show? However, by keeping them on sites like the SciFi.com and Hulu, Universal *would* still have to pay residuals to the writers of the webisodes, so IDK if that makes sense either.
Uninformed conclusion: It's just weird and annoying.
I did and I called and the guy on the other end was like, "I can't find this reservation or the other one, please call back tomorrow when the actual guy is in" and I figured I should wait to reply until I'd actually made the transfer. So I should go do that now.
Maybe that's a better deal for the writers of the webisodes, and hence part of the deal? If they keep getting residuals, as opposed to (would this ever happen?) getting a cut of box sales. I don't know much about how this stuff works, so my conclusions are a little uninformed.
Yeah, I agree about it being annoying. It would be pretty nice to have it all on a shiny little disk with the podcast track and stuff. Even my mom liked the podcast for those and she never listens to special feature stuff.

Oh, that's frustrating. Well, let me know if you have any more problems and I'll do whatever I can to help straighten it out. The only thing I can think of that might have gone wrong on my end is if maybe I transposed the reservation number or something like that. Or maybe they assigned it a new reservation number when I changed the name. But they didn't give me a new number, so IDK. But again, I'll be happy to help straighten it out, if necessary.
