Just throwing this out everywhere I can think of, in the slim possibility of making it work out....
One of my students is trying to borrow the use of a sedan sized automatic car to take a driving test in Hadley this Friday. The car she had lined up turned out to be ineligible for taking driving tests because the car's emergency brake is on the floor (who makes cars like that anymore???). Now she's scrambling because she's supposed to move to Boston next week and she's terrified of having to take the test on unfamiliar, busy Boston roads.
I originally offered to use my car, but it's a stick shift and she doesn't know how to use one. :(
She's a very nice, intelligent, responsible woman, for what it's worth.
