Weird how random Eights are just wandering around Galactica and the entire fleet apparently, just five days after the Earth discovery. Uh...don't they have their own ship? And wouldn't they be...not exactly welcome? What in the heck are they doing?

And although I'm starting to feel convinced that it's going to look like Gaeta's a sleeper agent, I'm also thinking that they wouldn't do a Cylon reveal in the webisodes, either. Important stuff, but not THAT important. Fleshing out rather than major reveals.

At first, when I heard spoilers, I wanted him to be on the Raptor with Felix, but after seeing our poor boy all blood-spattered, I'm kind of glad he's not.

I don't know any better than you on this, but yeah, I think this is Gaeta's good thing. I think.

I was sooo sad. I just couldn't. Didn't want to harsh anyone's squee. Didn't want to talk about it. I put it out of my mind and just pretended I didn't know. And it worked! I knew it would happen but I didn't know we'd get kissage! And I'm not disappointed. It was sweet and them and awwww! And maybe there's more! Cudddles! I demand Hoshi/Gaeta cuddles on screen. I think Eighthena kisses Sharon! I'm declaring the whole webisode arc a slashathon! No, I think many weeks past and she tries to kiss on Gaeta like she tried to rub on Helo. But he loves Hoshi so, no joy.

And I think that he's left alone. Everyone is dead. He's writing down the names of people he remembers. I don't know why. And he has 20 minutes to jump back to Galactica. And he's overwhelmed and exhausted and maybe killed someone/is injured himself and awww!

But! Then he saves himself and is taken to sickbay where Hoshi and Ishay tend him and then Hoshi climbs into bed with him and they fall asleep. How about that? That's a good story! That's not going to happen, but maybe I can try and vid it sometime, maybe.

I liked the kiss too. I liked the way Felix gave a little happy smile right after. But I'm totally guilty as charged. I was like, "That's the full-on impassioned kiss I heard about?" Now I'm beginning to think that the description was influenced by the fact that it was watched by squeamish, kinda homophobic men who saw that little sweet kiss and read it as omg!passionate because Gaeta and Hoshi weren't hitting each other in a manly fashion while they kissed.

I'm still holding out for Hoshi to welcome him home safe and sound in the tenth one with a sloppy, wet, relieved kiss. It could happen.

And one of the Sharons was definitely giving Felix the eyes-of-meaningfulness right from the hangar bay. I really hope there's not a hookup going on there. Why would Felix cheat on Hoshi? He's good to him! He loyal! He gets his man morpha!

Felix seemed to be somewhat oblivious to her though, or perhaps purposefully so.

I dunno. I think if people were to feel let down, hype or not, it would be because they were expecting a somewhat political statement. Which we didn't get obviously. Yeah, I'm not sure what to make of the suddenly toughlove dad Tigh persona towards Felix. I feel kind of touched, but kind of angry. It's like having this abusive dad that is suddenly trying to make up for it, and the kids are all pissed about it and it's all awkward because it feels so unlike him, and it's so little, so late. Like, where was that "son" talk from Tigh all last season when he needed it?

I keep wondering about that because it's such a weird little detail to put in, even if they just did it to show us how the prosthetic looks like. Why doesn't he wear a shoe in the CIC?
